Straight Talk How To Activate (iPhone 4/4s/5)

I love using Straight Talk on my AT&T iPhone 4s! Here is an easy tutorial on how you can use your AT&T iPhone 4s with a cheaper Straight Talk plan. This will help you set up your old AT&T iPhone on to Straight Talk wireless' network.

Here are the things that you will need:

• iPhone 3gs, 4, or 4s
• Straight Talk Wireless "Bring Your Own Phone" Kit (you can buy one at your nearest local WalMart)
• Paper Clip or any thin wire
• WiFi Connection

The "Bring Your Own Phone" Startup Kit will have these items:

• SIM Cards (ATT, ATT Micro, TMobile)
• $45 Service Card (30 days of service)

Here is how to hook up and activate your phone:

Look for the the SIM card that can fit with your phone, 3gs users will need the AT&T regular SIM, 4 and 4s users will need the AT&T Micro SIM. Check out the picture below that smaller is the Micro SIM:

Then remove your old SIM card using the paperclip or a thin wire. Insert the wire into the hole and press until the SIM try pops out. Gently separate the new SIM from the card and place the SIM in the SIM tray and put it back in its slot. The cards are notched and only fit one way. Do Not Turn On Your Phone Yet.



Then go to StraightTalkSim Activate to try and activate your SIM card ( In this step You will need the SIM Serial Number and the secret number from your $45 30day service card)

Select Activate/Reactivate my Straight Talk Service and click Continue.

You will proceed to a page that looks like this:

You can find the "SIM Serial" on a sticker in the booklet where you pulled your SIM card out of. You will need to input that on the first line.
   
Then enter your 5 digit zip code where you will be using the phone the most often.

Lastly, carefully scratch off the security film on your $45 30 day service card and enter the number that you found on that card.

If you are a current Straight Talk Customer: Enter your username and password to link your phone.

If you are NOT a Straight Talk Customer: You can quickly create an account at the bottom of this page.

After this is complete turn on the phone and connect it to your WiFi at hand. Then navigate to Unlockit in Safari. Check out the picture:

Select "Create APN" at the bottom of the toolbar. Then on the next page, select your country and "Straight Talk" and tap "Create APN"

You will arrive at at this screen:

Choose the new APN, then proceed to the "Phone" app and make a phone call. This will verify your SIM and trigger an automatic text with your phone number.

IT's DONE! You now have an iPhone for HALF the monthly cost as AT&T!
